We work closely with interior designers, building contractors, developers and discerning homeowners to deliver specialist finishes that enhance the natural grandeur of your property. Our dedication has made us the trusted decorators for some of NW1’s most exclusive addresses.
Since 1999, JRSL Interiors has brought refined finishes to many of the Grade I and II listed properties lining the Inner and Outer Circle of Regent’s Park. Our understanding of period features, conservation restrictions and listed-building compliance ensures each project is executed to the highest standards with full preservation in mind.

Regent’s Park, conceived by architect John Nash in the early 19th century, is one of London’s most iconic examples of Regency-era urban planning. Commissioned by the Prince Regent (later George IV), the area was designed to showcase classical elegance and order. Its architectural hallmark lies in the grand white stucco terraces that encircle the park, including Cumberland, Chester and Cornwall Terraces. These buildings exemplify neoclassical symmetry, with Corinthian columns, ornate cornices and sweeping crescents.
Nash’s vision extended to villas nestled within the park, built for aristocrats and royals seeking pastoral grandeur within the city. Over time, careful conservation efforts have maintained the area’s architectural integrity. Post-war modernism brought discreet additions, but strict planning laws preserved its historic identity. Today, Regent’s Park blends heritage charm with understated modern luxury, making it one of the most distinguished residential zones in London, known for its harmony of landscape, design and historic prestige.

Consultation

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout.

A private homeowner residing on Cornwall Terrace sought a full interior redecoration of their listed Georgian townhouse, including restoration of original mouldings and bespoke hand-painted cabinetry.
We began with surface preparation across all five floors of the property, protecting antique parquet flooring and period plasterwork. Our team removed all fittings and fixtures, reinstating them with photographic precision after painting. Walls were repaired using jointing tape and Toupret TX110 for cracks and imperfections, while ceilings were restored using breathable heritage limewash paints. Specialist colour matching was carried out using Edward Bulmer and Paint & Paper Library tones to harmonise with the period décor.
Due to conservation restrictions, we were required to use traditional techniques and materials approved by Historic England, ensuring no alterations to protected architectural features.
The townhouse was transformed with a soft palette of greys and whites, enhancing light while retaining classical charm. Decorative effects were applied in the drawing room to highlight ceiling roses and cornices. Client feedback praised our team’s ability to deliver on both schedule and style, without compromising the building’s historic fabric.
“From the moment we engaged JRSL Interiors, we knew we were in the hands of consummate professionals. The level of care and attention demonstrated throughout our home’s redecoration was nothing short of extraordinary. Every surface was expertly protected, every detail meticulously considered — from the way they prepped the ornate cornicing to how they delicately removed and reinstated light fixtures and furnishings. Despite us being off-site during the entirety of the works, the team’s communication was faultless. Regular updates, photographic progress reports and their willingness to work extended hours — sometimes well into the evening — gave us enormous peace of mind. The end result? An immaculate, museum-quality finish, that oozes the character of our Regency home, while breathing a new lease of life into every room. We were so impressed with JRSL we have recommended them to all our friends and family and will continue to do so. Massive THANK YOU once again.”
